Articulis was born out of a shared passion for sculpture and a chance encounter. Co-founders Alex Trapani and Pieter Jooste first crossed paths at a children's birthday party. While the kids celebrated, Alex and Pieter struck up a conversation that quickly revealed a deep, mutual love for the craft of sculpting and fine art.

What began as an in-depth discussion about techniques and studio processes evolved into a shared vision: to make professional-grade sculpting accessible to everyone. Combining their expertise, they began developing their signature masterclass workshops from the ground up. That daily, hands-on experience in the studio naturally led them to design and engineer their own custom tools, armatures, and complete sculpting kits.

Today, Articulis stands as a testament to that ongoing collaboration—a brand built by artists, for artists, dedicated to helping you bring clay to life.
