Refund policy

Registration and Payment
- Full payment can be made or a 50% deposit is required to secure your booking at an event/workshop/consultation. This is an advanced payment and cannot be paid on the day of the workshop as there will likely no longer be spaces available. All outstanding payments will need to be made before the event/workshop/consultation commences. The advanced payment secures the participant’s booking. 
- Any additional purchases made during the event/workshop/consultation can be paid via the website EFT, credit/debit cards, and/or cash. 
Cancellation Policy
- No refunds can be given unless a participant had a provable medical emergency. The organizers will happily move bookings for a fee of 20% of the cost of the event/workshop/consultation and any additional funds for the specific event/workshop/consultation being moved to. 
- Cancellations, or the moving of a booking, must be made at least 72 hours in advance. 
- Articulis reserves the right to review the causes for cancellation and reserves the right not to refund a percentage of the fees accordingly. No refunds will be provided for no-shows.

Articulis generally does NOT have a refund policy on workshop bookings, event sales, or consultations. We have a 30-day return policy on art products only, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return and refund.

To be eligible for a refund, your item/s must be in the same condition that you received them, unworn or unused, with tags/labels, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. In most cases you will first be eligible for a credit, redeemable within a 6-month period, before qualifying for a full refund.

To start a return, you can contact us at accounts@articulis.art. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 12 Louis Leipoldt Street, Heilige Akker, Potchefstroom, North West, South Africa, 2531.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that Articulis can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. As mentioned, refunds are NOT provided for events, workshops or consultations. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on vouchers or gift cards and the like.

 

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item, unless a credit has been previously arranged for your return item.

 

14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, the United States, or any other continent outside of Africa, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, unless prior arrangement has been made with an individual in management within Articulis. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags/labels, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

 

Refunds
Articulis will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund or credit was approved or not. If approved for a refund, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Your credit note will be applicable for a 6-month period upon receipt thereof. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
